
Charisma Carpenter Charisma Carpenter, an American actor, is recognized for her character of Cordelia Chase on the popular television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Carpenter was also an expert cheerleader and trained as a ballerina however, she was a performer through accident. Carpenter was discovered by an agent for commercials in Los Angeles while she was waiting tables. She soon made her way to becoming a major character in one the most well-known dramas in the 1990s. After spending years as 'Cordelia,' Carpenter played short-term roles in teens' shows like 'Miss Match,' 'Charmed,' and the Veronica Mars. The reality series she hosted on the 'Investigation Discovery' network 'Surviving Evil' (originally titled 'I Survived Evil'), stunned a large number of viewers. Carpenter told her horrifying account of being assaulted by the serial rapper while she was 21. Carpenter's dark side was made clear to viewers. In the year 1991, Carpenter and her two companions were attacked by 29-year old police officer Henry Hubbard Jr. at Torrey Pines State Beach in San Diego. Hubbard was able to hold Carpenter in a gun-point position and instructed her to tie up all her friends. Hubbard placed Carpenter under gunpoint and directed her to tie her up. Hubbard was able to refuse his demand. Hubbard gave her plenty of time to let her friends wrestle Hubbard. Hubbard was also shot in the arm by her pals. Hubbard was later arrested. Carpenter has saved a significant piece of evidence the flashlight which was police-issued. This helped secure the sentence of 56 years for the serial violator.
