Coleman was born in Lancashire, and born in Blackpool. She was a headgirl of Arnold School, Blackpool and had straight A's at her A-levels. She regrets that she didn't have a typical college education in her discussion of her experience at Emmerdale. Coleman was part of a group called In Yer Space at her school. The company was in the stage production Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. The show was awarded a prize to her for the presentation, while the show was received well. Whilst auditioning for drama schools Coleman was offered the role as Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman was nominated twice in 2007. She was nominated for two awards. British Soap Awards nominated her for the title of best newcomer. In the National Television Awards, she was nominated as the best newcomer with the highest popularity. The British Soap Awards 2009 nominated her in both categories: Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman got a nomination in the category of Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on March 21, 2012 that Coleman was going to play Matt Smith as the Doctor's Companion after Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and other characters quit the show. Moffat selected her for the part because she was the most successful in her interactions with Smith and could speak more rapidly than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Elle has been in the field of film since 1987. But she's been more well-known on television as opposed to films. Eva's TV roles on Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and Detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami are notable. The role that she first appeared on television earned 2 Daytime Emmy nominations, and helped her develop her love for music. Eva is also a philanthropist, entrepreneur and philanthropist. She was married three times and has a daughter from her second husband.
