Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. In the 1950s she began her career as an actress on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Following that, she performed on Broadway in a variety of productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner became famous at the National Theatre. In the same calendar year she debuted her debut music album called It's Tina Time. Louise was first introduced to Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's Big Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This film became a big hit and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. During this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. The next notable role she played was Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on with in 1964. Louise kept juggling her acting career between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting in more realistic characters as opposed to her perception of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she has also become a renowned director on popular TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Born on August 28, 1965 in Essex. As a young girl, 3, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived in the city for her entire childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the role of lead.
